Oil and Gas Development Company (OGDC) has expressed intentions to expand its Nashpa field infrastructure by setting up a Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) plant for meeting the growing energy demand in the country.
The field has been discovered recently having oil and gas. Naspha-well will produce 1,032 barrel oil per day. Besides oil, around 125 mmcfd (million cubic feet gas per day) gas would also be produced.
A 380 metric ton plant of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) would also be installed in March this year. The LPG project will be completed in two years and local manpower will be hired for running the plan at the field located at District Karak of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The field has been discovered recently having oil and gas.
